Calling compliance

How CallEasify supports responsible outbound calling in India — and where your obligations begin under our Terms and Privacy Policy.

Last updated August 7, 2026.

1. Purpose

This Calling compliance overview explains how CallEasify supports responsible outbound calling for businesses using our Services in India. It summarizes platform controls and shared responsibilities. It is not legal advice. Your binding obligations for use of the Services are in our Terms of Service; how we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy (and, where applicable, our Data Processing Agreement).

2. Shared responsibility

  • As stated in our Terms of Service, you are solely responsible for the legality of your campaigns, scripts, contact lists, and calling practices — including consents, disclosures, and compliance with applicable Indian telemarketing, privacy, and consumer-protection laws (including TRAI regulations, TCCCPR / NDNC rules, the DPDP Act, and RBI or sector guidelines where they apply).
  • CallEasify provides software controls — such as calling windows, workspace DNC / opt-out lists, recordings (when enabled), and audit-friendly logs — that help you operate responsibly. We do not practice law for you and do not guarantee that any campaign is lawful.
  • You decide who to call, what agents say, which consent or relationship you rely on, and how your workspace is configured. Rules and carrier policies change; consult counsel for your specific use cases (marketing, collections, healthcare, and others).

3. Platform controls that help

  • Calling windows — restrict outbound dialing to hours and days you configure, respected in each contact’s local timezone when enabled.
  • Workspace DNC / opt-outs — verbal or keypress opt-outs can be captured on-call and enforced across future campaigns in your workspace (see also Privacy Policy — Your rights and choices).
  • Retries and cadence — configure retry counts and backoff so redials follow your policy.
  • Recordings and summaries — when enabled, support internal review and dispute handling; retention follows your workspace settings and our Privacy Policy.
  • Human handoff — escalate sensitive conversations to a person when your flow requires it.

4. What you must not do

  • Call numbers without a lawful basis or required consent for your campaign type.
  • Use the Services to harass, spam, defraud, or contact numbers you are not authorized to call (Terms of Service — Your responsibilities).
  • Ignore opt-outs or DNC requests captured through the Services or otherwise communicated to you.
  • Use the Services for unlawful telemarketing, spoofing, or deceptive practices.
  • Disable or circumvent compliance controls to evade legal obligations.

5. Your lists and scripts

You are responsible for the accuracy of contact data, suppression lists you import, and the content of prompts and disclosures delivered by AI agents. Where your use case requires it, scrub lists against the NDNC Registry and your internal DNC / opt-out lists before dialing. AI agents may misunderstand speech or produce imperfect outcomes; configure review processes appropriate to your use case (Terms of Service — AI agents and call content).

6. Related policies

  • Terms of Service — agreement to use the Services, your responsibilities, indemnity, and governing law (India; courts in Jaipur).
  • Privacy Policy — what we collect, how we use call content, retention, security (including encryption in transit), and your choices.
  • Data Processing Agreement — Controller / Processor roles for personal data processed through the Services.
  • Refund Policy — trial calls, cancellations, and refund eligibility for paid plans.

7. Incident and inquiry support

If you receive a regulatory inquiry or consumer complaint related to outbound calls placed through CallEasify, contact us promptly at hello@calleasify.com. Subject to your retention settings, our Privacy Policy, and applicable law, we can help locate workspace logs and recordings.

8. Updates

We may update this overview as product capabilities or common practices evolve. We will post the revised version with an updated date. Material changes to your contractual obligations appear in the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, or DPA as applicable.
