What Slack is for
Slack is a notifications / write destination in CallEasify — call summaries, transfer alerts, and campaign digests. It is not a contact import source (use Sheets, Zoho, Notion, or CSV for that).
1. Create a Slack app
- Go to api.slack.com/apps → Create New App → From scratch.
- Under OAuth & Permissions → Bot Token Scopes, add chat:write, chat:write.public, channels:read, groups:read, channels:join.
- For production OAuth, add your backend redirect URL under Redirect URLs, then Install to Workspace.
- For local/dev without OAuth env, copy the Bot User OAuth Token (xoxb-…) after install.
2. Connect and pick a channel
- Open Integrations → Slack → Connect.
- Use Continue with Slack when OAuth is configured, or Connect with bot token and paste xoxb-…
- Map the destination channel (After the call — write). The bot can auto-join public channels.
- Enable Slack on the agent Tools step when you want write-back from Playground or campaigns.
3. Verify
- Run a Playground call with Write after call enabled and confirm the channel post.
- Launch a small campaign and confirm completion notifications if you enabled them.
